Eastern Soul, Pop Heart:
Visual Storytelling for Republic of Cha Cha

How do you make a traditional tea brand stand out in a saturated market? By turning its cultural heritage into a series of collectible visual talismans. For Republic of Cha Cha, I developed a collection of six promotional stickers that blend Japanese folklore—featuring icons like the Maneki-neko, Daruma, and Ema tablets—with a bold, contemporary street-art aesthetic.

This project was a deep dive into cultural translation. I took the concepts of prosperity, luck, and purpose and synthesized them into high-energy stickers designed to foster a direct, playful connection with the consumer. Each piece serves as a 'token of good fortune' that extends the brand's narrative beyond the can, proving that editorial illustration can be a powerful tool for engagement and brand loyalty.
